Monash Business Awards
Deadline : There is no deadline for nominations. The MBA is an ongoing process and the Executive Committee is happy to receive nominations from suitable businesses at any time.
The Monash Business Awards (MBA) aims to promote business success and excellence through the recognition of significant achievements and innovations within the City of Monash. Awards nominees make a presentation to guests at regular business functions, which also host a keynote speaker. These events provide business people with the opportunity to meet, exchange ideas and discuss current issues.

My Child Excellence Awards 2012
Deadline : Product registration closes January 12 2012.
My Child Excellence Awards 2012 for the pregnancy, baby and children’s retail category in partnership with the Baby & Kids National Buyers Show has been created to recognise market-leading products.
Products will be eligible for a Consumer-voted Award, which is open to voting by the general public only, and a Retailer-voted Award, an industry-specific award open only to voting from retailers/buyers. The most highly prized awards will be for Best Overall Product and Best New Product. There are two further consumer-voted awards: Best Retailer and Best Online Retailer.

Whats on 4 Awards
Deadline : 29th February 2012 at 5pm
The event of 2012 is the What’s On Junior Awards where the best children’s activities, classes, clubs, volunteers and party entertainers across the Australia are recognised and voted by the experts - parents and parents-to-be!
You can nominate your favourite in each award category. If they get at least 4 other nominations they will go on to the voting stage starting on 7th March so make sure those nominations come in and your favourite is in with the best chance!
You can nominate in all award categories but only once in each. Categories are:

Start Up Smart Business Awards

At StartupSmart we are passionate about discovering and shining a light on new ventures that are destined to be tomorrow's leading businesses.
The StartupSmart Awards for 2012 will be judged by some of Australia's leading entrepreneurs including Philip Weinman, Fred Schebesta and Amanda Gome.

Family Business of the Year Awards : Australia Wide

This Distinguished Family Business Award has been introduced to highlight the important economic contribution of family businesses in Australia.
It aims to recognise, annually, an outstanding company that has successfully blended family and business interests.
The Distinguished Family Business Award is open to all second generation and beyond Australian businesses that are substantially owned and operated by a family or group of families. The winner will be announced at a glittering awards dinner at the 2011 National Conference in Perth.
The Jason Lea Award for Entrepreneurship and the Next Generation Award are open to family business operators in all generational categories.
