  2. I’ve been reading about this and find it absolutely fascinating! I think it is going to change all of retail, promotional, creative and other industries as we know it when they get it refined. And at the rate that technology has progressed this century, I think it will be at warp speed! So exciting!

    I would like steal cast Platform b trains the same as our logo and a tin robot the same as http://www.tinbot.com.au both collectable and different to a lot of typical stress balls etc.

    I would also bring out a new train and robot each quarter so they were collectable.

    I’ve been the receiver of many a promotional item in my life (after 10 years in the paper industry, you get to see them all) and I still love, above all else, a good promotional pen… but I mean a GOOD one! One that people ask you about, that makes you feel good using, and that you can refill over and over again – so not a cheap, disposable one. My second favourite promo item ever is my keyring – again it’s a high quality one and a beautiful shape that perfectly suited the brand. It’s still going strong 15 years later, and I look at every single day. So either of these would be on my wishlist!

    As a virtual assistant, some sort of promo stationery or everyday item, i.e. notepads, pens, so everytime they are sitting doing their admin, thinking I wish I didn’t have to do this, they would look down and be reminded that ther is help just a phone call away :-)

    I would absolutely love to be able to provide my network members with VA decals for their car windows. Have always wanted to be able to do that! Otherwise iPad covers – most Vas use an iPad when meeting clients so it would be great PR for them and for me!

    Thanks for the great post – promo items are always something we’re looking out for not only for ourselves but for our clients.

    The type of promotional item I’d like for our business.. hmm. I’d love to have some custom made rubiks cubes created specifically for our business with some great art that we’ve created on them. They’re a little pricey, but such a great little gadget. If somehow they could also be used as a paperweight and pen holder with a notepad attachment, then perhaps it could be a useful desk tool that’s also a bit quirky, like our brand! I might be thinking a little small, but having something useful that’s also fun (or infuriating…) is what our aim is at the moment.

  14. I drive a new volkswagen beetle plastered with my branding, so if money were no object at all, I would give away cloned beetles with the Jotterbug Creative branding to all of my clients and suppliers! That way, Jotterbug would be seen EVERYWHERE!

  18. I would like like really cool packaging with my logo all over it and shopping bags people could use everyday. Being an online grocery store I would want the boxes that arrive on the doorstep to be instantly recognisable and keep around the home for others to see.
